Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

So, is this back to the normal price for Black Friday?
So, lately I’ve been using it with barricade’s limiter. Sounds even better.
So how would you describe the better sound using barricade versus not? I haven’t purchased barricade yet because I thought the limiter on bark filter would be all the limiting I would need.
I don’t really understand what this setting is actually doing from a technical perspective, but it pulls everything together, softening things a bit and making the sound more cohesive. It feels like writing it to vinyl or tape to me.
Fair enough, you just sold me on Barricade. Thanks again!
Also the limiters in barricade are much cleaner than the limiter in Barkfilter.
They make great combos together.
Eg. Barricade-SubtleGlue into Barkfilter-Tripleband into Barricade-LimiterPrograms.
So, can I do my mix down in Logic X, then export it as an AIFF to my iPad, then run the song through Bark Filter with the secret sauce? Will that work? Or do I have to do everything on my iPad? I know that they make a desktop version of Bark, but it's much more expensive than the iOS app.

Yes, but always keep your original mix-downs.
Bump.
May Tripleband bring you joy in 2020.

This is a great companion to Tripleband: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/stereo-width-control/id1493044617
Dude you’re killing me with the app arsenal I’m using to get my projects finalized. But honestly if I can squeeze multiband compression, equalization, stereo spread by band, and limiting out of 3 AU’s in my DAW, I’m happy.
Just watched @thesoundtestroom demo this. Might have to pick it up
I could stand it anymore... I told somebody. They didn't seem to care. Go figure.
It was the guy that came out to unclog the toilet.
He said: I prefer tapes. Old School. I bought one of his cassettes. Nice mix. Good pipes.
I thought you didn't like "toilet" sounds
You remembered and I didn't get you anything.
Anybody getting crackles or cpu spikes when adding Bark to anything?
https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/36859/tons-of-crackle-in-bark-filter#latest
Yes. Zenbeats and Auria Pro. Has been ok to date in AUM though.....
Yes. But usually only if I have a shit load of other FX and Apps loaded.
From the Wiki Frequently_Adked_Questions:
But "Bark Filter" is NOT a Hair Dryer but it can still trigger resource issues that result in crackling in some configurations. Not really anyone's fault except...
I only had that issue in Audio Evolution, but that was in a CPU heavy project.
In Audio Evolution I now only use it for mastering mixdowns quickly.
For me, the reason I “master” with BF is because it has multiband compression, eq, and limiting all in one box so I can get more done inside an app’s master track without hiccups than when I apply multiple Fabs, or Toneboosts, or various combinations of other apps to compress, eq, limit, and so on. If Grand Finale was an effect there might be competition, but it’s a destination only app.
If you hear crackles, switch off the limiter in BarkFilter.
I use TBBarricade for limiting.
Sorry, wrong post.
I’m using this in GarageBand on a 2018 iPad Pro and I can’t see far enough to the right to switch the limiter on. I can’t seem to resize the window to get to it either. Does anyone know how I’m being dumb or is this just one of those things?
i just bought this one, it’s only 4.99 and i’m curious 😏😎
Make a drum track and then do a A/B test and you’ll notice the power immediately
on it! good call
@jolico lol, pretty spot on..
