Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

It’s currently liveon the app store, 50% off intro price, and a sale on their other synths.
Will there be any bundle or upgrade option for NS1 owners? If not .. another quite annoying non-upgrade situation if one has purchased NS1 just 6 months ago ...
Ha. I just bought NS1. Hopefully it will still work for a while.
By the way it’s Only Ipad (not universal) and only Superior to IOS 13 .
A lot of new apps only accept IOS 13 ... A bundle could be great but Ns1 was removed from the AppStore so no bundle i guess ...
really nice synth
Boundle ? If I already have NS1 is a worth purchase?
+1
Yes
Bought. Didn’t retreat at all. Great dev and great synth
(I'll answer myself here).
How many modulation slots?(5?).
16 slots...
Is oscillator sync present?
Nope...
Can the oscillators be used as modulation sources?
Nope...
Would have loved to see a bit faster LFOs (they top at 20Hz).
I'm doing some serious app-clean up at the moment but this is a good replacement for NS1 an fairly priced too
I have seen that NPD is 50%. Does anyone know if it is a good « investment » ?
NPD is good. As is NFM (hopefully he's fixing the bug I reported in Nanostudio).
How does this compare to the bajillion other analog synths out there. Not sure I need another one at this piont, unless it offers a lot (e.g. Thor), has a special character, or is more workhorsey.
NPD is a really good ios synth! It has its own sound.
How many presets come with NPD?
How many with Mela?
Not many presets at all really.
I bought NPD in a recent sale and, while it sounds nothing like my old Casio CZ1000, I'm really impressed with it. So much so that I'm buying NFM and probably Mela too.
Really like and interface on NPD especially the envolope.
Yes, NPD is surprisingly good. In fact it is just amazing. I wonder if Mela sounds as good as NPD.
One thing that is a bit disappointing is the CPU usage. NS1, NFM and now NPD are all very CPU demanding. I hope Mela is more efficient. Can anyone confirm ?
NFM utilizes the FM8 interface for FM synthesis - which makes FM synthesis WAY more accessible. No stupid algorithms - just an easy grid and sensible envelopes (Obsidian does the same thing, but it only has three oscillators). A lot of fun.
You need to keep the voice count down on mela like NPD, i think its worth it for the sound quality.
Bought both Mela and NPD.
How does Mela compare to zeeon?
I couldn't find Mela, apparently, because it requires iOS 13, and the iPad is still on 12, owing to the Sonic Port not working on iOS 13.

How does Mela compare to...NS1 ?
In the endless discussion about how to make a sustainable business from apps, I think this is a valuable move. A new app enhance the features of the old app without completely renewing it. Old app is no longer supported and people can choose to pay a reasonable fee to continue using an excellent app, with some extra new features. At the end, we will all have to wonder what is the most important: new tools all the time or evolving environment without "revolution" but "familiarity"
Nice!
Sweet. Great dev, great apps 👍
Fricken awesome as an effect!
Hollaholla... can someone give me a pointer which sequencer you can slider over?! Looks really useful!
It looks like his app Midi Sketch
