Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

I'm going to share what I know. I apologise if any of the following links are duplicates since this thread is a bit too long for me to read the entirety of at the moment.

I saw Freesound already mentioned, so I'll +1 that.

Freesound is just a brilliantly inspiring pit. Not the place to go (necessarily) to get exactly what you want, but for going beyond the cliched and finding jumping off points, especially when feeling a bit stuck or stale....
Right?!
I use Documents' browser to access the site and download .wavs that way. Then I send 'em over to Audioshare or Beatmaker 3.
Free SB Mellotron Samples

This site has some fantastic drum kits, that should open straight up in BM3..

Doubleplus for this site.
Also great for soundfonts.
It was momentarily down last week, and I freaked.
Mind blowing array of early chip, single cycle waveforms and other stuff...including circuit bent ducks

From synthtopia.com by way of midi.org, Richard Devine's field recording of ringing rocks is fodder for sampling:

Don't know Richard Devine, but am now constantly hanging on hearing his stuff!
Quite interesting
Saw this on another forum, designed for the OP1.. but will pump straight into BM3 for chopping...

These are fantastic in mitosynth

Actually... having trouble getting these into BM3.. my Safari is being a dick when you hit download ? Screen just has a thin white line in the middle then the sample plays again?
