Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Hi @ElliottGarage - just wondering if you're aware of and plan to fix some missing state saving parameters in the AU drum machines. I'd need to go through them thoroughly to give you a full list, but I've noticed pitch and volume settings, overall volume setting, etc. missing.
I didn't want to take the time to go through each app if you already have this on your to-do list, but I will if it would be helpful.
@tiantong haha ok that’s why you understand what my username means. I’m 🇻🇳🇸🇪
@wim a list would be great, please write me at [email protected]
Did this happen on a particular host ? Thanks for the support
Thanks, I'll go through them all and give you some better data. I mostly use Audiobus, but will check in other hosts. Thanks!
@fattigman Jeps two flags each, one world (and I have a 🇻🇳 nick-name)
Custom sequencer length can also be creative...
Nice can’t wait for this. Race is on for the next drum AU EG drums or Drambo. Different beasts I know but looking forward to both.
Yes indeed! Is that per track or for the whole sequencer?
Will the AU do midi out?
Ready for this...
Thanks, I'll go through them all and give you some better data. I mostly use Audiobus, but will check in other hosts. Thanks!
Trap rolls on fire
Interested in these apps but am v fond of my old little Funkbox (the first iOS music app I ever owned and one I still use very often).
How do these compare, sound and functionality-wise?
In particular, can they be controlled (stop, start, tap tempo, pattern up/down) via Bluetooth MIDI?
AU3 version hosted on AUM and synced with Ableton Link
@TimRussell it can be controlled by the host or via Ableton Link. It also can receive core MIDI and network MIDI . Thinking about adding Bluetooth MIDI too
@ElliottGarage please be sure you check mixdown compatibility with Nanostudio 2 for this new drum machine, mentioning it because WaveShaper is still not working correctly there
@ElliottGarage Very excited for this app looks fabulous can't wait.
@ElliottGarage Are you looking for beta testers?
Working on the grid view
@auxmux test phase is not started yet
Looking good! Is there a pitch/automation grid for each pad and are the pads polyphonic?
(I'm thinking about automation for playback mode normal/reverse, re-trig, repeat etc. etc.).
And well, will it include the samples from all the previous drum apps as it looks like this could potentially replace them all
R-r-r-randomization? 🙂
Probability?
Grid view step recording
I did write him and have never heard from him, no response. I give up
Nice..
Really like the look of this. Any idea of an ETA?
And Bluetooth MIDI support for things like start/stop, pattern change and tap tempo all get my vote.
@ralis I answer all the email I receive...can you please check the mail is written correctly? [email protected] with 2 'l' and 2 't'
@TimRussell I hope to release it at the beginning of September...not sure yet, as the test phase is not yet started and I'm still working on some features
