Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

@ChrisG is it out? Just seen posting on iPad Musician FB page.
It's out (in NZ).
Edit: $24.99 NZ dollaros. Not sure where the intro pricing went, or if they're just skipping the kiwis and the Aussies;)
Yeah, they won't notice ;-) come on Apple we wanna play.
Can any of our NZ posters confirm the file size? I assume no conversion is necessary for megabyte sizes to the U.S./Europe

6 more hrs and it should be out in the UK AppStore. I'm probably gonna wait for the US AppStore to catch up, otherwise I might lose "a few" hrs of sleep here. And I got more moniez on the US account store credit then I have on my actual bank/CC card (which is sad, I know).
Download size is 465mb. Dunno the installed size tho.
Edit: By the way, the app description says "Special Introductory Price - Limited Time Only" , so I'm guessing the price will change soon.
Could be a long night and I am meeting my boss tomorrow for mid-year appraisal review. Ah well, can't wait to have fun with this app.
Ah, best to wait then perhaps
Btw, Retronyms are aware of the intro price thing, so that'll prob change very soon (although it is Akai Professional that sells the app, so I'm not sure if the retro dudes have direct access to their Apple dev account etc).
Do you think it's out in UK at 01:00???
I'm in Italy and I think is the same....
Yes, usually sometime just after midnight.
Interesting about iMPC Midi Out:

Very reassuring..... "MIDI is so purposefully hindered on the app."

Good find, thank you. Note that comments are about iMPC, not Pro; it was posted on Oct 13, 2013.

People keep posting that- it's a thread from last October- has nothing to do with the Pro.

In store now in Oz
@Zymos I think Pro version have the same midi as the original, so I think is the same or almost better...
@thinds OZ?? Where are you from??
Melbourne
Not Kansas
If anyone who bought it has time/inclination to find out if the internal samples can be added/deleted that would be much appreciated.
About 17€, if I'm not wrong...
They have to fix the price.
EDIT: Ok ,now!
Kind of funny that MPC originally stood for MIDI Production Center.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_Production_Center
Can anyone who has it check and see if the midi syncs with the host so that when you press play on the host the impc pro starts playing in sync?
Dear earth, and Apple, pls spin it up...I'm all like:
