What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Green Fugue / DRC, Noise, SwarPlug, et.al.
It astounds me that I could make this piece of music (like it or not) with an app that was on sale for 5 bucks, in eight hours, just by touching a plate of glass.
Although Fugue Machine (as I was informed) is not a generative tool, I make the case that it is an improviser’s dream thing. In this one I used almost all the parameters including raising and lowering the pitch of the whole shebang (esoteric musical term).
14 tracks. BeatHawk brass and percussion, Microsonic piano (in two octaves), iFretless Bass, DRC Bass, SwarPlug tabla, Noise pad and percussion, iSymphonic strings, Heavy Brass, PureSynth, iCathedral Organ.
To me this track seems almost like a Shepherd’s Tone. Anyone more knowledgeable, please comment.
