Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Never did see them live. Started with Tyranny and for me the peak was Up Evil. Wish they would do more like that but it sounds like it was the producer running amok (?) shifting things and it created a division with fans. Almost seemed like the band was done at that point with just a few super basic Reason sounding outputs after that and tons of remixes by so and so and rereleases. Up Evil is woven into my DNA, such a distinct album.

It looks like they are playing here in September in St. Petersburg, definitely going to that!

    Very cool!

  • I was massively into them when they released up evil and Off. listened to those two CDs on repeat.

Pulse didn’t really live up to those two, but I still think they’re great!

  • So much for ‘Never Stop’ B)
