Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

audiobus2 and the focusrite iTrack Dock

edited September 2014 in General App Discussion

I use the system input into effects, and into a DAW.

With my iPad plugged into a Focusrite iTrack Dock --- I cannot see the separate inputs. I wish to use 2 inputs -- for guitar line-input and a MIC input.

Does anyone have advice on how to "see" both inputs separately so I can put them through separate effects paths?

Thanks!!!

  • In the input slot, next to the top option (System Audio Input, I think) is an 'i' in a circle. Tap on this and it reveals options to select channel 1 (which is the instrument input) or channel 2 (which is the mic input). So you can create 2 separate Audiobis signal chains and select a different input for each one.
