Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Instabuy: Quite possibly my favorite synth on iOS . Korg Modwave in terms of sound, at least to my ears. Full and rich w tons of high end and it has some nastiness to it .

  • Red sky lullaby posted vid

  • I'll buy, because Bleass, but can you upload your own wavetables?

  • Hard decision for me...should I go for the Megalit, or go with the Korg's Warszawa ( Electribe Wave ) in Gadget?
    I mainly use gadget ...

  • Is this a intro price does anyone know or standard ?

    Yes. It's Intro/BF - half priced

    €17,99 is half price?

  • 10/10 based just on a preset surf. I'm gonna enjoy this synth. Being Bleass means it'll be easy to use too.

  • We all like a bit of Bladerunner !

  • Anyone else thinking ‘this is too good to be true’?

Nope. Thinking yet another wave table synth. Waiting to see/ hear anything special about this one.

    Ditto...
...no 'Insta Buy' for me this time around as I'm more than happy with the wave-table mangling capabilities in Drambo...

It’s sounding superbly lovely, I can tell you - sweet as the proverbial nut.

WARNING! though. I was trying it out just there on an old iPad Air1 - just this and one instance of Pure Acid driving it in AUM - and the DSP maxed right out to the red nineties rumbling crunchies. So it does work from iOS 11 as per AppStore description, but have some caution if you are hoping to get a few instruments going on an older iPad.

  • I like BLEASS apps but this is something I already have a lot of.

Motion sequencer… Well everything has that when hosted by Drambo.

It’s only £12.99 here in the UK which is about €15 I think.

  • 17,99€ in central europe

For wavetables I use Drambo and GR-16, each app sounds little different. I have no TeraPro with WT addon, no Megalit, but on PC desktop in Ableton the same wavetables also sound different…
Question: what you colegues think , with thausen of WT on my custom collection , it is more important to get this new synth, and as many as possible other WT synths to better learn usage of collected wavetables files, or better invest time into DRAMBO and GR-16 WITHOUT other apps and keep focus (and my little money)? Any adventages other than responding to Program Changes in Megalit/TeraPro-WT?

  • I guess they'll just sell new WaveTables via IAPs :sunglasses:

  • Here is my walkthrough and programming guide, this synth has some bonkers superpowers indeed.

  • They missed opportunities to add chorus and ring modulation.

  • I went through all presets and picked my favorite 53 sounds. Here's a demo video playing them all (The "Boards" preset kept making the app crash though..) and playing with the oscillators.
