Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
app for randomizing chord progressions
Hi all, looking for a good app that will randomize chord sequences. I know it sounds super simple but its what I'd like to find.
many thanks,
Greg K.

I wouldn't call that super simple.
CHORDBOT, has this feature. They call it Song-o-matic, and you have 3 choices. - Plain Pop, - Justified Jazz, -or - Schoenberg Surprise.
There's not much in the way of customising parameters though. Hit one of those and it will randomise a 4 or 5 bar progression.
ChordPadPoly is a MIDI controller app, but it has internal sounds, and a randomizing function for setting up the chords you assign to the pads.
cool! thanks you all!
@gkillmaster You can try CHORDBOT for free, to see if you like the feature. CHORDBOT lite's limitations are no save or export, but you could try it out. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/chordbot-lite/id400216689?mt=8
If you want song ideas that aren't so random try Autocords.
if you record them to a single audiofile first, you can use Sector for this.

That's a cool idea. Especially if you throw in some altered variations.
Thanks @audiblevideo. Autochords is exactly what I was hoping to find!
+1 for @syrupcore 's idea
