Very interesting set of pieces! I can't really say which version I prefer, but the original version with Aparillo has an extra edge just for the originality of the sound - it sounds new. The piano versions sound almost Beatles-y in parts.
Thanks @JudasZimmerman. I hadn’t thought about the Beatlesin this context, but I have been watching “Get Back” on HULU. It’ll listen to the piano again, in that light, and listen for what you are hearing.
