Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Sax Like A Noise Machine - live looping with LK, Koala, Loopy Pro, AUM + midi controller on the sax
Live performance with SAX and Noise Machine midi controller mounted on the key guard!!!
Apps used are LK, Koala, Loopy Pro in AUM, and others. Midi looping, audio looping, live sampling, effects triggering, SAX and Noise Machine duoing!!!
TONS of work here, both setup and musically. This stuff has become almost too difficult π©ππ
But still this is cool!!! πππππ

Howβre you liking the NMSVE? Very excited to get one.
I had to look up the $'s involved for Noise Machine Straight Vibin' Edition. It's based on an Arduino Controller and was a kick starter project by 2 guys in Toronto, CA.

@ChancedMusic I really like that little device Itβs light and super small, a microcosm of micro buttons you deal with to make something musical
The key for me was to mount it on the sax, I had an idea like this since two or three years, NMSVE was perfect for that.
Then I reassign most buttons to do specific things with mFx Convert and presets midi mapping. Then itβs a ton of midi routing and filtering to achieve the setup. LK, Koala and Loopy Pro have all scenes synced. All instruments are configured and ready to be recorded.
Some buttons play instrument, some change midi channel, some change scenes, other trigger Koala buttons and pitch effects, and last ones toggle transport buttons!!
I have polished that setup since January 2022. That video took me 3 hours at the studio with tons of takes yesterday. But it was also much more time to practice it: count it in weeks if not months!!

Totally worth the effort!
Holy crap, @Janosax. That is mad scientist type of stuff. Sounds great and the video was a blast to watch.
Thanks to both of you. I like the mad scientist stuff, good definition!!! Itβs cool when itβs at service of art. All that juggling looping stuff can help with a certain trance state of mind which push creativity and expression further, this is also what Iβm searching for.
