Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.Download on the App Store
Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
development platform question
As both a musician and longtime computer techie, I've jumped into Swift development (because I can ). I'm sure it will be a while before I can create anything useful to others, but as I get further along in the learning process, I wonder about what "real" developers do.
Are most of the many excellent apps discussed in this forum developed in Swift or in Objective-C (or something else?)?
I'm beginning to sense that both disciplines are important. Objective-C is just another language, but it makes me wonder whether I'll have to learn it as well in order to accomplish any serious tasks.
