Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Sugar Bytes should host IAP sound-banks presets from sound designers here.. Won’t mind paying a ‘latte’ to enhance this beauty ..

  • @SoundForMore : Thanks yet again for another excellent tutorial.

Here’s a tip when using DrumComputer as an AUv3. The GUI causes a big DSP spike. If you make your AU window smaller and scroll up and down through controls then it can reduce your DSP by like 30% (on a 10.5 pro)

@gusgranite there is also a setting that might reduce CPU

Animate WT Draw. For more control, especially when modulating wavetable position, the waveform in the Wavetable OSC can be updated in real-time. However, it comes at a cost. If you are short of CPU power, you should deactivate this option.

    Didn’t know that! 👍

  • I like what I see and hear with DrumComputer but even with the current discount it's around $40 AUD. Trying to figure out it's worth it. Love the tutorial!
