Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

  • You don't need Midibus.

Set Effectrix as Tempo midi target on DM1. Also deactivate the MIDI Trigger switch in Effectrix (bottom right). Just tried it and it works!

  • AWESOME! :) Took a while to get to, but I'm on it. Thanks!

No need for any midibus. Slap DM1 in the input slot, Effectrix in the effect slot. In DM1 go to the "song" window/section, tap the MIDI button to bring up DM1's MIDI settings, under "DM1 sends MIDI to:" next to where you should see Effectrix as a midi target in the list, tap on "tempo" so it's highlighted. Effectrix should pick up clock sync/bpm from DM1 now.

  • Thank you!!

  • @eroxxx Isn't it a bit lame to set up an Audiobus related Facebook group, then pick the brains of people on this forum in order to present the solutions provided to you as your own on the Facebook group?

Sorry, I have nothing against you generally, but the least you could do is credit those who helped you.

  • Yes, I have noticed some copy/paste work
