Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Cubasis specs

Does anyone know the limits on simultaneous tracks for recording in Cubasis? I looked all over the net and came up empty handed. Also, I'd like to know what audio interfaces (6-8 inputs) are supported by Auria and Cubasis.

Comments

  • To clarify...not necessarily officially supported, but what you might have used and know that it works.

  • I think at the time the original manual was written, this is what was supported for 6-8 inputs.

    From the Cubasis manual:

    • RME FireFace UCX: connected via Apple's CCK and set into CC mode, the RME FireFace UCX provides 8 input channels, which can be recorded simultaneously as 8 mono or 4 stereo files.

  • Thanks @AkaMarco, I'll take a look.
