Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Ergonomics
Hey everyone!
I’m pretty new to making music on an iPad, and also owning an iPad in general. As much fun as I’m having, I’m struggling to get comfortable when working. It seems the best way for my hands and arms is for the iPad is to be at angle that is slightly higher than parallel with the table, but the best thing for my head and neck is for it to be at a 90 degree angle.
Anyone have any tips or care to share they have their workflow set up?

I also like standing with it attached to a standing desk at the angle you described.
Get a Bluetooth controller and/or Bluetooth mouse and a decent stand and chair.
The irony is at least half the time I’m hunched over making music, so advice from me on this topic might not be too valuable. Lol.
Oh, I like that.
Not just the Multiple devices organized neatly and the comfy couch but the wheels as well.
@AudioGus that set-up is exactly what I've been dreaming about. What is that thing and how do I get it or make it?
It's a 'mobile laptop stand' if you search for one on Amazon, for example. About $60US. I just ordered 3 of those for my kids as home-school desks and now I wish I'd gotten myself one, too!
It is this... (But I did remove the mouse platform and switch the placement of the top over)

@AudioGus My couch is about 4 inches off the ground. Do you reckon your contraption would slide under it?
Fits under my three inch clearance so you should be good to go!
