Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Philips Natlab

Last week I’ve bought a limited edition vinyl set of the Philips Natlab productions.
It’s Tapemusic that was produced during the same time as the BBC Radiophonic workshop did (it may even pre-dates the BBC workshop). Since I wasn’t able to find more about it on this forum I thought it would be nice to share an excerpt of one particular piece. It has some sort of techno feel to it but was originally published in 1961. For those who are interested in more, in iTunes you are able to download a lot more from Dick Raaijmakers a.k.a Kid Balkan, Tom Dissevelt and Henk Badings. It’s quite interesting from a sound design point of view.
