What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. With the release of iPadOS and it’s further separation from iOS, how will it likely affect current and future Universal apps? Will Universal apps still be an option? How viable will it be for developers to continue making Universal apps?

    As far as I can work out it’s just branding. The iPad has always had different features.

    This does give Apple the opportunity to release versions of iOS and iPad os separately (as it used to at the beginning of iPad). But iPad os is is still iOS underneath.

    Universal apps shouldn’t be affected.
