Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Rozeta question

Is it possible to link the speed slider to tempo ?
Also if I move the speed slider on particles then can’t really restore it to center and goes off sync .
Any tips (besides not touching speed? )

  • It's not clear to me exactly what you are trying to achieve. If you want random notes in a specific tempo-synced clock division, you could enter your own pitch collection into Rozeta Arpeggio and set it for maximum variation.

The speed is affected by the quantize setting, so effectively it’s already linked to tempo. If you have a long quantize setting such as 1/4, your notes are still going to hit on every quarter note regardless of how you manipulate the speed. There will just be more notes.

Also, I’m not seeing the problem moving the speed slider to center, or having it go off sync. In fact, I don’t see how it can go off sync when the notes are quantized.
