Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

What technology Link will handle better ? Bi-band or 3 band routers ?

edited August 2018 in Support and Feedback

Hello,

Does anybody know if it's better to have a 2 bands router with a bigger bandwich at 5ghz faster like this one
https://www.tp-link.com/fr/products/details/cat-9_Archer-C3150.html
Or a 3 bands "lighter" like this one
https://www.tp-link.com/fr/products/details/cat-9_Archer-C3200.html

Above 24 apps using Link my Airport Extreme is crashing after some use.
I suppose there might be also lots of other networks around polluting it, but even hidden, WPA2 secured, it crashes...

How 4 iPads would interact best with this router/bandwidth thing... ???

Thanks :)

  • Ok, doesn't mater, it's not about my Airport, it's about Link crashing because of Audiokit Synth One...
But to answer my question, the C3150 is absolutely enough... :)

  • Well...The C3150 does not work out of the box with Link...So still doesn't know why I've got these "Link crash"...
    Goodnight forum. :dizzy:

  • For posterity, I solved this issue setting the Airport Extreme to static DHCP, then I set an IP on each iPad.
    No more troubles.
I think it's an iOS bug.

  • Just to let the community know, the bug was coming back even with these router settings.
But since IOS 12, no more problems at all... :)
