Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

OT: How to replace audio samples in Logic?

Is there a way to replace an audio sample in Logic? Google won’t help with this one

Comments

  • How one changes a sampler’s sample bank depends on what virtual instrument you’re using. What are you using?

These are audio tracks with wav samples. No instrument or sampler has been used.

  • Just delete it and drop another into it. You can save all automations if you like.

  • You can also just drop and drag an audio file over it.

  • One 'trick' that can be used is to open the 'project audio' window (Command+8), delete the file from the list (it won't be removed from the time line) and on next launch of the project logic will ask you where the missing file is and you can choose another file and it will replace it in the project...

This puts another sample in to the track instead of replacing the other samples.

This Trick actually deletes the timeline as well. But renaming the sample works. Thanks.

That's something they must have 'fixed' in the latest update, but happy you got it sorted out :)
