Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Diode108 alternative?
Hi,
Already have ElasticDrums and Patterning, but I miss the diode app (abandoned) ,especially the easy / musical FX section . Any diode user found a similar app ?

The only one that comes to mind is SeekBeats

Not easy, but musical FX section

Seek beats looks interesting, will watch some videos
Stroke machine has a bit squashed GUI, but thanks @telecharge
Also, DM2

Doesn't meet the musical FX requirement, but probably closest to the interface and features of Diode-108.
Here's SeekBeats videos:
Not sure exactly what you mean by musical but I find iSpark simple to play with but also quite powerful. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/arturia-ispark/id1045383182?mt=8
Also, the EFX board for SeekBeats is an IAP. Here is a demo...

Is worth a look too.
+1 for iSpark
I'd just use diode108 to be honest. Since it's a 64bit app the backed up .Ipa is pretty future proof. Installed it on iOS 11.2 with no issues...
iSpark is great, like Stroke machine (if you accept to get used to it) and you can have different FX for each instrument, but if you want to easily add FX rhythmically the only thing that comes into my mind is SugarBytes Effectrix. It's easy to use, you have all FX on one page and, important, every effect is fine-tunable!
The workflow would be a bit different: You build the beat in whatever app you like, then import the audio file using pasteboard or Audioshare and then add the FX.
I find the FX in Effectrix much more useful, so I'm not too sad about Diode108 being discontinued - although it's not a 1:1 replacement of course.
I have Effectrix (my top favorite FX) , but I'd prefer one app.
Will look to iSpark too
I no longer have the IPA file and can't download it anymore .
Ohh, cool app ,much depth ,but not straightforward (for me!). Thank you anyway
One of my favorites.
Recommended.
I wish that I could do that.
They pulled it from the store before I backed it up.
BANGO!~

No AU, no AB, no nothing beside iTunes file sharing. It is a new app, a bit strange, but has some very great hidden powers, some really cool and complex FX. I like it very much.
VERY much!
Not to confuse with this one:

Which is well worth the money, imho. Has a great groove, if you ask me.
Looks just weird enough. Cheers. The AR version looks just beyond weird enough though.
