OT Useful looking tiny Mono mixer
£80 seems a bit steep though, but it has a very small footprint and will work of 4xAA batteries.

Not sure all of the snippets of variously accented 'dude' was absolutely necessary. Because of this I'm not biting.
Seriously though, being a battery powered, small footprint offering with mute switches kinda makes it quite desirable. The lack of stereo brings it back to 'the 'do I actually need this thing?' category.
It's cool it has mute switches. Most small format mixers skip them, you have to turn the volume down, and lose your mix, when you bring the fader up again.

I've been rocking one of these on my mobile board lately. Got it for $20 at a local used shop. I had the 16 channel version for years!

Sorta hints at what sets this one apart. Surely if you're adding a ton of gain to channels, you're gonna eat them AAs up quickly! But the device itself can be used as a sort of OSC which might be appealing to folks with modular gear who might be 100% on board with a mono signal combiner with mutes, volumes and per channel gain for less than a lot of 5:1 mult modules cost!

I have that same one.
Also, have the older mono Boss without the gain or pan pots. It has suffered so much abuse, and keeps on going.
I use this for non critical things.
Two mono, is more flexible than a stereo channel - my opinion guys... and girls?

@vpich I use one of those as well as a sub mixer (though it's a different brand). Very handy little devices.
It can be...but also reduces the number of devices, with 5 channels, you can then only attach 2 x stereo and 1 x mono device....which may or may not be enough for you
If you're happy to control the volume and muting from your devices then those start shaped things are ideal

Keep things simple, fewer cables make less clutter and less to carry.
I guess I'm of the generation where big sound meant big equipment, but now I can get that Hendrix sound without a wall of Marshall's behind me... all I need is an iPad. I need reprogramming.
Hehe...wires are annoying, but they tend to be more reliable than air for transmitting electrical signals fast. For now anyway.
I know where you are coming from.
My first amp was a beautiful pre-CBS Fender Champ, but I traded it away for a Peavey TNT because the TNT was so much louder, and was big enough that I could climb on top of it and jump off. Hey, I was a dumb teenager!
I now own another pre-CBS Vibro-Champ, but have no desire to once again acquire another TNT.
