Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

FL Studio desktop finally coming to the Mac!

Wow. Never thought I would see this happen but it's real: http://createdigitalmusic.com/2013/09/fl-studio-in-beta-on-mac-now-studio-groove-for-windows-8-touch/

As a mac user, this also makes my purchase of FL Studio Mobile much more useful since it means I can continue working on projects from the iPad on my Macbook while keeping everything in tact.

  • I was also excited, but that video is so full of disclaimers, it's off-putting: we don't promise, no guarantees, "AS IS". I guess that would be acceptable if it's going to cost 50 $/eur/etc.

Well, they have to say all that because it's still beta and it won't be a "native" Mac app but using a "wrapper" technology. Who cares about the disclaimers they have to put in there as long as it works. The upside is that you should be able to run Windows VSTs in it.

  • I quite respected all of the disclaimers! Looking forward to giving this a shot.
