iDS 10 - How to you erase automations?

How do you do this? When I press pattern at the bottom it only gives me the option to erase tone or sequencer data. When I press the knob itself I get the big slider thing but it does not seem to erase the recorded automation in any way.

    Hold the button a little longer and it will take you to the automation page.

    Got it- thanks for that. Wow! this has just multiplied my fun with this app by a factor of .... well lots- couldn't put a figure on it - but it's a huge difference now. Can I suggest that anyone else that hasn't noticed this should check it out.
