Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

i'm still upset that i missed enlight when free
Oh, thanks. I was waiting for Union.
iColorama is free again
A must have.
I love Over. Free at the moment (always?) https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/over-creative-typography-graphic/id535811906?mt=8
This one looks really interesting. How is it to actually use?
Hmmmm...not free now
Oh, well, just downloaded because was free, but honestly there's better stuff out there.
Icolorama at full price is one of the best bargains in the store. For free? Just grab it!
Yep.
got it, thx
the only thing that worries me a bit is the size, each time an app this size comes in another one has to leave (32 GB only unfortunately)
Thinking of it as keeping you razor sharp and on top of the things that really matter....
it's a very big download no? think that's why i deleted it a while ago
oops didn't see that post above saying same.
It is relatively big, but then it's relatively good also
Maybe a missed something with it. Does it do much more than Leonardo, pixlr, or enlight?
What are people's fav photo editing apps? I'm never sure I've got the best one.
I tried this. Union is there for free, but no Afterlight. Is it supposed to be there through Jan 16?
Same here. US app(le) store.
Haven't tried Leonardo but i can compare it to the two others
It does a lot more. While Pixlr is decent and Enlight is very good iColorama is a much more complete package. Pretty much all effects are can be tweaked to a point that's rare on IOS so you're not just stuck with mirroring or rotating preset effects. It also has a vast brush library which can be tweaked in great detail
As a graphics designer i'm a sucker for trying design apps and i have a lot of them but truth be told you could get by with just a few apps
For me Pixelmator, Graphics (formerly iDraw i think) and iColorama are essentials. Those 3 can handle pretty much anything but for a faster workflow you could add a typography app - i personally use either WordSwag or Typorama and maybe some particle brush type app for those light paint special effects. Repix and SpawnHD are a couple of standouts in the area
Good summation.
@Jn2002dk
Thanks. I like that this thread is here. Really has to be a serious standout app for me at half a gig. I'll check it out again.
Pixelmator looks good, should have picked it up when it was on sale last month. (Oh, see it is ios9, and I'm not there yet. )
Nice interface in the Union app. Got it with the Apple Store app. Thanks!
iColorama is great...and big. I use it only on iPad because I have an 16Gb iPhone. And I find Union great, but I use Superimpose more because is from the same dev as Leonardo, so I'm more familiar with the tools.
