Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

iRig Pads question: what does it mean that there are 16 user-controlled scenes?

edited December 2014 in App Tips and Tricks

Does this mean I can save 16 different presets with knob/slider combinations?

Can someone explain, thanks!

I believe it is as you say, it will store the MIDI control assignments for the knobs and slider as well as the notes assigned to the pads as a single "scene", and you can have up to 16 of these to recall on the fly.

  • Is that In addition to the four that irig already programmed?

  • My understanding is that it is 16 in total, and the default presets can be overwritten if necessary.

  • Busker, any idea why when in sampletank the pads don't change colors? I found that when the app is in the background, however, they do change. Bug???
