Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

OT: RuneScape Finally Coming to iOS

Not sure who all will care but I’m sure someone will.

Old School RuneScape has been on iOS for a while and RuneScape (RS3) has been teased for like 4-5 years. It was in a closed beta for a while and has been on Android for a bit.

Well the time has finally come. It’s available for free pre-order on the App Store. Apparently the more people pre-order, the bigger the rewards when the app launches on June 17th.

Don't think I would have my own iPad capable of running it but this is getting an iOS port too...

Would love to run that on my ‘18 iPad Pro
On the compatibility list of your link, it only lists MacOS devices :( Was it confirmed elsewhere that an iOS port is on the way? Would love to see more AAA games like this on the platform.

I tried to get into OG Runescape on my iPad; but it was a little awkward as I have no history with the franchise. The new one definitely looks far more approachable though. Every other MMORPG I’ve tried on iOS was either dumbed down mobile crap or mostly filled with Gacha progression mechanics that I abhor. It’ll be nice to try one that’s equivalent to a modern desktop mmorpg experience.

  • Interesting
Recommending to my brother that is resorting to play in his ipad since his computer went kaput

Whoa... 20GB for Divinity? For mobile that's huge :open_mouth:

Yeah it’s definitely a bit odd either way. Pretty different from something like WoW. They did modify the mechanics quite a bit in RS3 to try and make it a bit more modern, which is actually why OSRS was created. I’ve honestly never gotten used to the new mechanics and always enable legacy mode in RS3 to get me closer to what I was used to in high school. I’m mostly excited because I have significantly more time sunk into RS3 than OSRS.

  • Can't wait for RS3 to drop. Most of the mmorpg type games on mobile right now are asian auto play P2W garbage. I've been playing at least one MMORPG for the past 20+ years, currently enjoying Elder Scrolls Online on Mac. Hopefully the few games studios that support Mac continue to do so in the future with M1/M2 becoming a thing.

Just picked it up on release day. Quite impressed by how well it runs — even slightly better than on my i7 3770k 970gtx gaming PC. Certainly looks far better than my switch version.

Pretty cool sign of things to come. This sort of thing should be playable on base models in five years or so.
