Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Marvis Pro just dropped from $5.99 to $0.99. It’s the best “power user” music player on iOS.

👍🏻 @Poppadocrock!
@orand, Does Marvis Pro have any advantages for Spotify or Amazon Music users???
Neutron has far more flexibility and can handle HiRes files in its own library. Not the prettiest interface tho...
Nope, just iTunes, iCloud Music Library, Apple Music, last.fm, and Musixmatch.
Hmm, looks useful for my old FLAC collection. Looks like Neutron has a 4.0-star rating with 96 reviews, while Marvis Pro has 4.9 stars with 428 ratings. As for flexibility, it seems Neutron has lots of under-the-hood technical flexibility, while Marvis Pro has the most UI flexibility and customization. Different goals for different folks.
I settled on Marvis Pro due to this very detailed and helpful comparison of alternative iOS music player apps.

What do Neutron and Marvis have over Foobar2000?
Granular Synthesizer is currently FREE, it’s a newer app and I don’t see any connectivity, but it’s usually $5.99.

I like that Neutron works with external DACs for a truly great sound (with a hires file and decent earphones).
Third barrowclift roundup is out:

Not sure how this is worth $5.99 - no connectivity, no sample import and a clunky unresponsive interface. Maybe OK for free (just...)
Rotation bug also...
That sucks I haven’t even opened it yet. It came out a couple months ago, there was a thread on it, but other then that I don’t know anything about it.
Open menu, choose a sample, tap exit——crash every time. IPad Pro 2018.
Audio Looper + is Free, it’s a new app that was a dollar or 2 but just went free. Don’t see any connectivity listed in description...

Thanks for the head's up on this one. I already have too many compression apps, but this one seems different enough.
Dub Siren DX - Reggae Dub DJ Tools & Radio is $2 off down to $2.99 with some IAP’s available.

Barba X Drums has dropped again to $.99 from $13.99

Different because of the sound or the UI?
Thanks for this. At this price I’ll take the punt that it’ll eventually get auv3 support.
I’m curious as well, I’m trash at compression but still like compressors lol
Attractor - the meditation and music app is only $.99 usually $9.99
