Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

  • Mallets from BeatHawk? Which app is making that subtle flute tone?

This has a "Caper in the Museum" soundtrack feeling. Probably due to some Henry Mancini
score from my youth... one of the Pink Pather's maybe... jazzy drums+flute+mallets.
Or "Hatari" with some ethnic african instrument tones.

  • @McD, the flute is Microsonic Tape Flutes. Marimba from BeatHawk. Thanks for listening, bro.

  • A very playful and mischievous piece, this one. I like it. I got the same kind of vibe from it as @McD described. Visions of Peter Sellers sneaking into his flat trying to avoid the crazy Kato, lol. It also reminded me a lot of the backing music to the first levels of Crash Bandicoot one and two, probably because of those mallets! Nice work as always. Thanks for the tag!

  • @Spidericemidas, thanks again for the sound designs. Have you ever considered doing a pack for Poseidon? Diablo is a video game. Maybe I’ll do a chip tune next😉

Blimey! I haven’t booted up Poseidon for a couple of years now, and I never tried to program it back then. Interesting suggestion, I’ll have to take a closer look at it again. I haven’t programmed any of my Virsyn synths. Will have to check the preset sharing method.

Oh yeah, big Diablo fan here 👍

  • @Spidericemidas, would love to see the color representation of your sounds on Poseidon!
