Can't record into GarageBand iOS 7

All apps are up to date, still using iOS 7 as none of my korg apps are updated yet. Don't get any response from the uv meter in GarageBand. IAA seems fine. Is this a known issue and we're just gonna have to wait for updates?

    Same is happening to me. Many apps that are iOS 8 ready are not working for me in audiobus on iOS 7. I am not getting any output through the internal speaker for Sunrizer XS and Animoog, or in any DAWs like Garageband. I guess thats part of updating right now.

    The description in the App Store says "requires iOS 8.0 or later".
