If you have read the September Song thread you will know @McD hooked me up on a blind date with a robot. What resulted could be called Cyborg Music. But, when you think about it, “Cyborg” is a hopelessly anachronistic term suitable only for septuagenarians such as myself. Here is a look at what is really happening and how all the concepts we have of “robots”, “virtuality” and “assisted living” must be consigned to the scrap heap of vintage science fiction. Truly, today we can see the hundred typing monkeys acquire a nervous system that will indeed create limitless Shakespeares.
