Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

i’m down for an early audiobus forum members ghost release 😎 👻 we promise not to feature request or complain about bugs 😀 i’m sure by now they are all worked out enough to get by 🧪🧪

I'm legendary in "if something doesn't work in perfect way, just use some workaround, instead of complaining or requesting new features" - so i'm in :-)

that’s my new outlook in 2020 , i’ve made complaints in the past ... but now i just make the best with what is given as i amjust a mere end user just trying to have fun making music! still throw out a few suggestions or ideas if i have em but no longer in the form of complaint...
ok you got two in for the no complaining no request camp 😎😎🤪🤪🤪

  • I also promise I won't complain :-)

  • I’m not reading all this....what actually is Drambo? :p

An ambitious effort to create a musical synthesis and composition environment not unlike the Moog Modular Synthesis system back in the sixties and seventies.
It took years of hard work to develop all the modules 😎😬🤗

  • It’s more valuable as a story about a product than a product. I’m in favor of never releasing it. Just keep the episodes coming

Now that you say it 😂

Pressure to release a product before its ready is a real thing but understandable. A painful birth for all... baby drambo birth meme ?

Yes! Stealthily release the app under a different name, then keep this thread going in perpetuity. If the buyers of the real app can keep it quiet, we can keep this thread going forever. I'm down for driving some people insane any day.

    Good idea!

Also considered that giku is launching an artist career using Drambo as his secret weapon, never intending to release the app in the first place.

  • I've read many pages already but haven't found nobody talking about performance on two old iPad's.

Could somebody kindly tell me how far can I go with an Air 1 and a Mini 2 (basically the same specs)?

Or @giku_beepstreet, I could test it on these older iPad's if you'd like to

I use Zeeon every day and I love it! I also have Sunrizer and it's magnificent so thank you for your hard work! ;-)

I've just done a pattern with 8 tracks, some with physical modelling and two with a 4-voice polyphonic synth on a Mini 2. Can go down to 128 samples audio buffer without stuttering.
Menu operations are a bit laggy but audio runs fine.

I don’t own either of the devices you’ve mentioned but I can imagine you’ll be ok but you know, it’s modular so it’s a piece of string kind of thing. I’m on 10.5 and absolutely never had any cpu issues no matter what I do.

  • Thank you very much @rs2000 and @supadom for your insights!

There are some nice psychedelic sounds in it. I love it. <3

Any guess on what „a few weeks“ will be? More than a month?

  • @Liquidmantis great share, thanks! Just watched, my iTunes credit is burning a fucking hole in my account haha. Hope this is shipping soon...
