Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Long Live BM3!!!!!
Like to also say great job to all my fellow beta testers. This is not the end more to come!!!!
Good job I didn’t have plans tonight 😊
Update appeared on the U.K. store.
BeatMaker 3 is constantly improving thanks to your feedback.
Please keep sending your suggestions on [email protected]
Here is what to expect:
MIDI clock in is definitely nice for my use case.
Here in Italy it’s not on the Store yet, unfortunately.
Let’s see later.
Let’s go!
@samu monitoring fixed in both places!!!
Brewin’ the joe!
MIDI clock? Yessss!!!!!!
Does this update fix constant crashing? New features are only good if we can actually use them.
Last update did for me.
Will install when I get back home
@AudioGus I told you I got u. Did you check That the create pattern bug is fixed
I am trying to contain my giddy anticipation by obsessively hitting refresh on the app store every five seconds.
Question to the beta testers: How do I adjust MIDI Clock latency?
Seems a bit late...
Alrighty, am trying it out on my burner pad... so far so good. I have a little project in mind for the weekend that should give it a really good test.
Thanks for helping shoot this up the ladder! Super appreciate it!
No fix on Aumidfx record.
Could you provide some more details of your use- case?
I don’t think there’s a setting for that or that it came up as an issue. Can you tell us more? Also maybe just fresh restart of your iPad first to make sure you have a clean run at it.
Anytime. If you find something weird let us know.
Digitakt USB MIDI > CCK3 > BM3
Digitakt sends MIDI clock and STATUS commands (start, stop, continue do work as expected)
BM3 Settings:
Midi Clock In = On
MIDI Input Devices: Elektron Digitakt In = On + Sync
The higher the audio buffer setting, the higher the audible delay.
Ideally, there's either an adjustable negative latency correction or an automatic correction depending on the audio buffer size. Manual is always better of course.
Can you route the clock through AB3 and use its latency adjustment to work around the issue?
I had to offset on my desktop host (Renoise) by 43.2 milliseconds to make it nice and snug.
Yes but that fails when doing tempo changes. With MIDI clock routed through AB3 I can compensate for the delay (-60ms seems to just do the job) but then tempo changes are followed too slow and at lower tempos, the delay gets insanely high.
BM3 alone follows tempo changes perfectly, it's only the delay that matters.
PS: Latency adjustment like in Groove Rider is most likely the only missing control in the equation.
First (audio) crash after 1 minute of using it:
I played 3 chords with d1, loaded another instance of d1 and the sound crashed.
Bm3 Restart fixed the problem. Everything is allright now.
That’s D1...it doesn’t multi instance well in any host
