Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Possible to hear Audio Thru iPad Speakers with an Audio Interface connected?

edited September 2019 in App Tips and Tricks

I just got a Scarlett Solo (3rd Gen) and i’m wondering if there is a clever (or dumb) way to still hear audio through my iPad speakers when the audio interface is connected? I’d like the option to not have to wear headphones or plug in speakers when not recording. For example, when playing guitar.

And before anyone says “Why on earth would you want to hear your guitar through an iPad speaker?”. The speakers on my 2018 iPad Pro are plenty good enough for a little noodling. 🤘😉🤘

Thanks

  • There’s an option for “multiroute” audio on Audiobus 3, I believe that could be of help.

  • Thanks Rodolfo.
It’s not working for me. I’m probably doing something wrong. Can you post a screen of how you would set up your input and output slots in Audiobus?
    Thanks
