Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
IR Sources and Convolution
There has been a bit of discussion about convolution (for reverb and speaker cabinet emulation) lately. While there are some AU samplers and synths that have a convolution reverb built in for their own output (such as the recent Midiculous offerings), there is no general-purpose dedicated convolution AU.
But there is a need both for reverb and speaker cabinet emulation.
One question is: what are sources of free or inexpensive high-quality IRs (impulse responses) that one could use with an AU convolution app.

Here's a link to Samplicity’s Bricasti M7 Impulse Response Library: samplicity.com/bricasti-m7-impulse-responses/.
I've been using the Bricasti M7 IR files in the Mobile Convolution app from LiquidSonics. The Mobile Convolution app isn't AU-compatible, but it does load as an Inter-App Audio effect in AUM and Audiobus.

Do you have Logic? The little included IR utility program is amazing. You can make your own IR’s from your own spaces and speakers. I’ll try to post some of the ones I made.
I wish there was an iOS utility for making IR’s, just for the portability. I couldn’t swear it would be a million dollar idea, but, it would be pretty cool.
