Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Pulse Code Inc. - Gone?
Hey everyone. I really loved Pulse Code's apps.... Rhythm Studio, Modular, Pulse, Boom 808 (never bought 909 though)
Tried searching their page. Got error 403. Facebook, itunes, etc.
Nowhere to be found.
Do any of you know what happened to them?
Comments
So funny I just searched them the other day. They are GONE gone. Boom 808 is still the best sounding 808 I’ve heard on iOS.
Rhythm Studio is still available in purchased apps.
Same with their other stuff looks like
So true...
I recall a video where I thought Boom!808 sounded better then some hardware clones
@BiancaNeve and @Littlewoodg
Yeah... the purchases still show up. But other than that, no smoke signals
Now I regret not buying Boom!909 before
Not sure if it's exactly the same group of coders, but Rhythm on my PSP was awesome too
Damn... and here I am who considered buying the 808 some days ago
Hope it's a temporary thing
Or you are able to find it
Forgive typical stupidity; are purchased apps only available to look at in iTunes or is there somewhere else?
Same group, it was/is awesome, I’ve still got it installed
In your download history. On the App Store, on any page (except search) tap your portrait icon in the upper right. There you can see your purchases and download them, even if they were removed from the App Store. There are very few exceptions to this.
Reminds me to finally buy AnalogKit, which developer also seems pretty much gone. The company Pulse Code Inc. is still active thought, albeit the developer (or at least one half of it) is probably full time working as CAD specialist... I guess one could try to contact him, but maybe that would be a bit too touchy.
I did a comparable research while searching for the dev of AnalogKit and although both of those Apps (or devs) seem to be vanished from the development world, they still renewed their companies in 2018.
Isn't it so that as yearly license fees are not paid to Apple that apps will also removed from the Appstore, even if they were purchased. So I fear for owners of Pulse Code Inc. apps that they will loose their apps with purchase of new iPads in the future...
Nope. Afaik only if the developer explicitly wishes so apps get removed from the purchase history. Not paying the developer fee does not automatically remove apps from your history, because there are a whole lot of old apps I can still download of now defunct developers.
Always had this one hanging on the wishlist too
But I still gotta make zMors and Audulus 2 run a bit more
Still noy clear to me. I understood that license fee is the key to uphold apps in the appstore. Maybe some additional info or links how this exactly work could be great. Anybody?
Thank you much! (scurries off to have a Friday afternoon dig about)....
It’s the key to distribute apps on the App Store but does not affect the availability of bought apps for the customer. If you’ve bought it you have access to it.
Not sure what you are asking for. The dev fee is simply required to actively offer your app on the App Store. I am pretty sure there is an official article on that on the official developer.apple website you could google for.
If an app is removed from your purchase history as well, it was completely pulled from the App Store by choice of the developer or publisher. There is nothing you can do about it but only because an app is removed from the App Store it does not necessarily mean the fee was not paid. And only because the fee is not paid, it does not mean your apps get pulled from the App Store but rather are stopped being distributed.
Thanks for the explanation
might not work anymore, but I did get a couple apps restored to my purchase list years ago after an e-mail exchange with an Apple rep .. : flight control, and Bioshock.
I hope they bring back the ability for users to backup and restore apps — I’d rather have that than some of the other features coming to iOS/iPadOS.
RIP old friend... one of the best iPhone music apps.
Coincidentally I was messing with Analogkit the other day, superb thing grossly underated
