Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

NanoStudio 2 and KB-1

Hi has anyone worked out how to record midi notes from KB-1 midi keyboard into NanoStudio 2 - midi notes play fine but can’t seem to record the notes. Works fine in Cubasis - puzzled!

  • As far as I know NS2 doesn't support recording midi generated from AUv3 Plug-Ins without extra quirks...

  • It'll work if you use KB-1 standalone.

Be interested to know how you do this - just tried and ended up in the usual NS2 MIDI black hole.

Wish they’d sort this out, thirty quid and I can’t use other MIDI apps with it.

    1) NS2 MIDI Settings

    2) KB-1 Settings (note: OUTPUT = KB1)

    3) Enable Record in NS2 & Play KB-1

    4) Chord mode works. B)
