Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

    WHOOT!

No WAIT, I mean UGH! No AUfx automation in NS2. :(

  • Looks great! Is this reduced?

  • No AUFx automation in NS2, which sucks, but even as a static effect I could see myself using this a LOT for ambient, for noise music, for bass genres (dubstep, bass house, etc), for whatever really. Add it to my sonic shaping toolkit as it were.

  • I know I will love it!!!

Then consider it pre-ordered. The FAC line is absolutely top notch stuff. I’d probably pre-order FAC Mute Button.

  • My wife is going to kill me this month...

  • I do wonder if this will be included in the 'FAC Bundle' at some point?
Would also love to see the manual for this...

Thanks! Ordered! Love a bargain ;)

  • Description says more effects to come. Sounds like a good deal to me.

  • Oh look, I pressed a button!

    (Purchased).

  • A bargain for 4,49€!
Or should we wait for the next Black Friday?
Pre-ordered, because all FAC FX are top! 😊

    Thank you @FredAntonCorvest !

  • This is the second app ever I've pre-ordered :)

Same, I don’t get the pre-ordering angle but some things are just The Right Thing To Do.

Anything FAC gets a pass until proven otherwise.

I'm curious about what other effects will be included in this app as hinted by the app description :)
(And will they be IAP or not).

  • A complete description of the effect is available here

    http://fredantoncorvest.com/FAC_Bandit.html

  • My question is, can we pressure him into releasing it early like last time? C'mon FAC you know it's ready

  • Pre-ordered! I love the way the Apple just plops it on your iPad, like a surprise present to yourself.

  • I preordered no probs!

  • Thanks to this thread I discovered FAC Maxima...just what I’ve needed! A simple way to boost audio without adding anything =)

    Thanks yall

  • I bought it.
    I look forward to it.

  • I've used FAC Transient on my drum tracks.
Now I'll be using FAC Envolver to make new Drum Tracks by tapping like Impaktor.
(The Forum slipped me a clue for an App I didn't know what to do with yet).

Yeh, I get a kick out of that - in contrast to the peeps that pre-order then sit around refreshing the App Store every two minutes and agonizing that it hasn’t showed up yet when it has for others, then cancel the pre-order, and buy again so they can get it a few hours earlier.

I’m never that anxious for any app. For some reason I just get tickled when that “Your app is ready to use” notification pops up all on its own. B)

works perfectly also on basses or leads ! My most used AU plugin

  • Thank you so much for your great feedback and support on FAC AuV3s.

FAC Bandit will be out on April 22th at regular price.
The documentation is already provided at http://fredantoncorvest.com/

To get an idea about the sonic capabilities of #FacBandit here a new video covering most of the presets.
Use headphones :) Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  • I just popped my Pre-Order Cherry to save $5.50. Sensible.

Me like it what I see and have already pre-ordered...

Just wondering what kind of weird and 'wonderful' effects are planned for future update as the app description hints at that being the case?

One 'request' even though it's not out yet is to be able to switch the filter pre/post the bit and sample-rate reduction.
This is something I used a lot when sampling on the Amiga, ie. EQ out some of the highs and lows before 'sampling', the results can drastically differ depending on where in the chain the filter is done.

Will it be possible to route a midi-note to control the ring-modulation frequency?
(ie. be able to 'play' the frequency that is modulating the source).

Love the new 'design' of the app. It's a big step up from the previous apps and a LOT easier on my eyes!
