Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

I don’t get the excitement. It’s one of the most unintuitive apps I’ve encountered, and the UI looks a mess. I know, it’s free, that makes it easy to delete.

It's perfect for taking on a challenge, such as a "create a track in a genre KDJ-One WASN'T necessarily meant to do" challenge.

  • And it’s only unintuitive for people who don’t own a Yamaha QY70 :D

  • Resurrecting the old thread to ask: anybody connected an external midi keyboard to work with it? I can't do that, didn't find the option to chose the midi instrument, only "network connection" appears in the beginning......
