Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

the last but one post was : "don't forget to hail IL as they can't stand critics" (i was banned -> qed)
the last post was : asking someone who tagged FLSM to be the best iOS DAW how it can be the best daw when copying clips between tracks is not possible (i gave 3 examples of not working chores)

that's not intended to be a thread. it is a short rant/fyi about IL not being able to cope with critics other than banning them. my last post which obviously triggered the ban was asking another user how he/she can tag FLSM to be the best daw when copying clips between tracks is not possible...

  • Who and what are IL?

  • ‘The best’ is only a personal opinion....

IL are image line - famous for Fruity Loops - now FL Studio and pornographic Tetris games.

  • i memory serves, I think Scott, the main FLSM person, and moderator, is Australian.

Ah thanks, wasn’t aware of any of that.

  • I steer clear of company forums. Even raising the smallest issue with a product can result in a bashing from the fanboys. At least on here the forum covers a wide range of products, so there’s less chance of a mauling.

Fat chance you weak, panty waisted, little whining pansie. It’s your type wot causes unrest.

Jusssayin but this actually is a product forum

I got banned on both Twitter and YouTube the other day (not the company accounts) for stating the truth, which is indeed a very dangerous thing to do, especially in the "freeest society we ever had" according to what the politicians say ;)

But that's not exclusively a "modern" problem. Even the ancient Chinese said: "Who tells the truth needs a fast horse." :)

In this house I’d take that as a compliment!

YouTube and Twitter are now heavily biased and actively preventing some free speech that doesn’t chime with their world view. Totally missing the point of free speech needing to include people saying things others may not agree with. They have lost the plot. As for the truth, that is not something either group - or Facebook - like if it contradicts what they prefer to believe and the agendas they support.

So, I watch Doug’s vids and a few others on YouTube, but wouldn’t touch Twitter or Facebook with someone else’s bargepole! :)

Sorry, I am unsure which way you meant that. :)

Are you saying that the censors are suppressing everything, or that in your view Twitter, Facebook and YouTube contain all that you like?

  • Product forums tend to be put up by a company for specific purposes. Rarely is “free speech” a purpose. Follow their rules or get lost. It shouldn’t be that complicated or controversial.

I very much agree. The large platforms have become an echo chamber for group-think ideology, which when challenged can only resort to censorship, because their ideas aren’t based on objective reality.

Oh please, stop it with your “hate facts”. 😆

  • Not sure what social media sites have to do with product forums. With the latter, the company and moderators generally don't have the time, or haven't set up the space to deal with attitudes and unproductive drama. It's distracting. State whatever problems you're having, ask a question, etc... that's what the forum is for. When they spot someone trying to create drama, they eliminate the problem. I hope I've helped clear things up. :)

Just for reference, social media platforms are not curtailing your “free speech” if they ban you or stop your posts/posting privileges.
They are private companies ran for profit and are entitled to police their products in anyway they are legally allowed, not public areas which guarantee free speech.
As I’m sure you can still go and talk to other people about whatever issue is irritating you and post about in on other media they are not stopping your free speech at all.

  • Yeah beat me to it but I think people are mistaken as to what free speech is and what it entitles them to. Hell, data issues aside, I don’t even think FB should be having to explain censorship to government bodies. They’re a private company. They set their own rules. And you’re free to leave it any time you like. Same goes for this and any other forum. The government can’t restrict your speech. But private groups, organisations, pages, etc. are well within their rights to enforce their own code of conduct; for better or worse.

Yes. They entirely miss the point that the only way to make sure genuine Fascism - as opposed to someone who may disagree about a point - does not resurge is robust and open debate, where grievances, real or imagined, are heard. Banning ordinary folk because someone doesn’t want to hear what they have to say will never work. On either side of a debate.
