Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Not in front of it at the moment. Unless you're using reeeeaaaally long samples, it probably wouldn't noticeably help with overhead. I don't remember if you can import your own samples in RDM. If so, create a 0.5sec silent sample an import it. If not, just mute the output in AUM or something an keep rocking.

One method would be to click on the mixer icon in RDM and turn the master volume off for the drum sounds or use mutes. Then you will only hear the sound of the instrument being triggered.

    That’s all I do.

  • Thanks I’ll try the suggestions :)
