Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • @enc. Does it charge the iPad? Also, are the 4 inputs recognized separately inside AB or AUM?

    Charges through cck

Also, are the 4 inputs recognized separately inside AB

    No

    or AUM?

I don't use AUM so I'm not sure. Probably not.

Sorry. That sounds strange. Are you absolutely sure the 4 inputs are not seen in Audiobus input? Are you sure the unit isn’t faulty?

Also, does it really charge the iPad via the regular CCK?

I’m not doubting your answers it’s just it sounds very unusual.

The classic CCK cannot charge your iPad.
You need the USB3 CCK and at least iOS9.

Regular as in ‘the one that doesn’t allow connecting to power socket. Not the CCK3.

You can either have apps as inputs or the physical inputs on your interfaces. I use Akai EIE that has 4 inputs and they show in Audiobus as per picture below.
