Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.Download on the App Store
Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
What to do when an app isn't showing up in input/output/effects
- Delete the app in question. (Note: If necessary, back it up first.)
- Delete the Audiobus app.
- Reboot your device.
- Install the app, and Audiobus, wirelessly (not from iTunes).
If that solves the problem, you've had an old version of the app in question, or the Audiobus app cache needed updating. If that doesn't solve the problem:
- Turn on Airplane mode.
- Launch Audiobus
- Put Audiobus in the background
- Launch every other app
- Go back to Audiobus to make music.
If that solves the problem, your network is faulty - you have multiple DHCP servers who are competing, etc. We're going to try and make Audiobus and compatible apps 'immune' to this in a later version.
