Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Surprise! Introducing my new app, Samplebot.

Hello, friends!

I’ve finally emerged from the depths of coding – and, I might add, the joyous but rather engaging throes of new parenthood of a quite charming little boy! – to make an announcement!

Fantastic! I'm kind of on holiday from work at the moment so I have plenty of time to play with music stuff - and help squish those bugs

  • Awesome! Enjoy the journey, it goes by sooo fast. Best advice, first 5 years are pure gold, do not miss out.

    Signed up also.

  • Congrats. Signed as well. Waiting for loopy pro for decades and now this...

  • Just saw this and signed up. Looks cool!!

  • It's a fantastic concept and love the idea of being able to choose classic drum patterns using your own samples, but... with apps like this, I record some poor attempt at beatboxing then the novelty wears off... is there any way to import proper sounds or Is this aimed at real drummers etc?

You can't import from within samplebot, but in other apps that can export audio, like audioshare, you can choose "import with samplebot" to get your stuff in there

  • Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but is there any way to trim the start/end points of a sample?

  • Nope, not yet - working on that now, @iamspoon

  • @Michael Cool. Congratulations on your new creations too. Best wishes, I hope all is well!

  • Thanks heaps! =)

  • I'm really excited for this, check for it every day lol... :#

  • This ones shaping up good! Being able to edit the volume and panning is much appreciated. Just a dead simple sample/audio sequencer with a minimal interface and no bullshit, something I've always wanted

  • Having the ability to trim the sounds is wonderful. All seems to be working.

  • The tutorial only takes you to the Hi Hat step then stalls out.

Worked fine for me through the top bar loop indicator part. Quite clever tutorial...
