Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Tidal/apple music audio routing

Hello,
Can this somehow be used to route audio coming from apple music and tidal, process through equalizer app then output? I have a dac that plugs into my iphones lightning connector and I want to equalize my music. Thanks for any suggestions. I use soundflower and audiolab on my mac. Thought this would have a system input like audiolab paired with soundflower, but the audiobus system input is just my phones microphone.

  • People use tidal?

  • Jux is terrific, but there you're back to mac.. no need for bus, other than ipad plugged into anything that reaches mac, but once you're there you can run it through any FX (even AuV3-OSX) - or w/ soundflower (I use LoopBack) to route.

Why would people not use tidal? Its certainly a step up from other services. I hear a difference between other streaming services vs tidal. But the difference between tidal and lossless doesnt warrant me carrying around a dedicated listening device.
