Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
New Track..Fields Of Corn..Thor, Nave, Cubasis etc
This is one of Jo's songs, we recorded the vocals via a Behringer 1832FX mixer with a C1 condenser mic..all the synths are either Thor or Nave..the drums were record live as a little loop into Cubasis..everything was hooked up to the iPad with the UCA222..the delay on the vocal in the chorus was from the Mixer FX...its takes us ages to complete a track these days..we are at the moment working on an epic monster called Marrakesh, which tells an epic story..its around 17 minutes long and is turning into the most complex thing we have ever done anywhere..a big hybrid of hardware and the iPad,ridiculously complex drum programming..anyway I'll post it when its done..but for now...just chill to this..hope you enjoy.

No link Doug.
sorry edit..
Nice feel and flow to that Doug!
Thanks and sorry about the missing link in the first post..
Great !!
Very nice...it reminds me a little of the group Renaissance, if you remember them?
She has a silky smooth voice
Definitely remember Renaissance @Alter_Ego_UK, and I'd agree on the similarity.
Yes well done Doug, great job as always. I don't remember renaissance.
They were a great band...so thanks for the comparison..we do lots of different styles..I also liked Barclay James Harvest and Steve Hillage, Gong.etal....oh and Focus..amongst many many others...any way just found this vid of a complete Renaissance gig..I'll post it here for any anyone who wants to go hippy and travel back in time to 1977..
Could drift away to this. Makes me want to go driving in the countryside on a sunny day. That's always a good thing! Nice sounds and singing!
Very nice, thanks Jo/Doug
There's no need to go all the way back to 1977 as there are still folks doing the whole Renaissance thing. Here's the latest from UK band Magenta.
Don't think they record using iPads though...
@thesoundtestroom: Thanks for the Renaissance video...memories! I remember the Sight and Sound concerts!
@PaulB: Nice find...never heard of them but a nice retro sound!
Thanks for sharing @PaulB and @thesoundtestroom. I wasn't familiar with Magenta, and I liked that song. I'll have to explore more of their stuff. Also like the others you mentioned Doug. I haven't heard them in ages though. I'm gonna dust off the vinyl and journey back in time.
