Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Arturia beat step pro as master clock for midi sync
Hello
Just to let you know, but my first tests are WAY much better, stable, and usable using the Arturia beat step pro as master midi clock.
My setup :
-ArturiaBSP
-soundcard Iconnect Audio4
-Ipad 4
-Loopy slave
-BeatMaker 2 slave
-Samplr slave
-External synth Elektron Analog Keys slave
All is running well at the moment, I can change the tempo live, Loopy timestretching quite fast...Always in sync as far as I've tested...
Can't wait for the next Ipad Air 3 and the new app Masterpiece to add app effects and other app synths !!!

Thanks, I am getting BSP soon, nice to see it works well with iPad.
Thanks for the post, good to know
Carrefull, it's becoming a nightmare with external hardware...

I am using the Beatstep Pro as a master clock running DSI pro 2's sequencer (just the clock not notes) and it keeps in sync with that perfectly.
Just got mine yesterday and a quick try of: iElectribe, iSem and Animoog was fun. All synced, no problems.
I use mine only with iPad so will do more experimenting there, hopefully using more of its midi functions than I can ATM, still trying to figure out the basic functions..
Used as master only
