Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

What are you listening to? Is it good?

  • Old colour TV and cigarette smoke and The Old grey Whistle Test...

  • The Soulquarians-style(?) part of this song begins at around 3:40.

I think Everwanting: To Want You to Want is the coolest Maxwell song. It appears at around 4 minute in the video.

Ego Death Polyphia and Steve Vai

  • The ridiculously talented Elizabeth Fraser’s new project, with Steve Hackett adding a welcome whiff of early Genesis…

  • The group Sunda Arc has some excellent electronic music. Can be found on Youtube, along with a bunch of other good stuff on their record label, Gondwana Records:

Indeed, he's quite possibly the best bass player in the world. Used to be subscribed to his channel, still checking in from time to time.

  • Metallic Monks by Mark Morgan. The Fallout games (including Inon Zur) have really good soundtracks.

I watched that last week - funnily enough I just finished watching this one earlier today (just finished his book Voice of the Fire, which is pretty much what the vid is about):

    "And the Grammy goes to..."

  • For those who can’t sleep (UK time at least!) something to while away some time……..

  • If you placed a gun to my head and demanded that I choose only one record by Mr Jones, it would be Hunky Dory.

That Headboys cut of “Shape of Things to Come” was a very welcome blast from the past.
    Great song. Great version.

Really enjoyed the take on Hamburger Lady as well.
